Cacao & Soundbath

Join us for an intimate New Moon gathering centered around ceremonial cacao, immersive sound, reflection, and community.

As the sun begins to set, we’ll gather in a beautiful private outdoor space in Santa Clarita to slow down, reconnect, and create a little room for whatever wants to emerge.

Led by Arielle and Kinya, the evening will move gently from shared intention into cacao and an immersive sound journey, followed by time to integrate, connect, and enjoy the sunset together.

You do not need any previous experience with cacao, meditation, sound healing, or ceremonial spaces. Come as you are.

The evening includes

  • Ceremonial cacao

  • Opening intention + community circle

  • Immersive sound journey

  • Rest and reflection

  • Sunset integration + connection

This gathering is intentionally small so there is space to settle in, receive, and connect without feeling crowded or overly programmed.

About Our Facilitators

Arielle Zieja is a therapist, cacao lover, and practitioner trainer with Keith’s Cacao. Through teaching and community circles, she shares cacao as an Earth-based medicine and relational plant ally: one that can soften our defenses, awaken the senses, and remind us that we belong to a living, interconnected world. Weaving together myth, meaning, ecology, expressive arts, and trauma-informed psychology, Arielle creates spaces for people to listen more closely to themselves, one another, and the more-than-human world with curiosity, reverence, play, and a healthy appreciation for the beautifully strange.

Kinya Jones is a movement educator, bodyworker, and founder of Conscious Movement. Her work explores the relationship between movement, awareness, and the ways we experience ourselves through the body. Her relationship with sound began simply: after training in gong, she found herself drawn specifically to the instrument because of the way its vibration resonated with her. Rather than working with a collection of sound-healing instruments, Kinya focuses on the gong and the immersive experience it can create. Her sound baths are an extension of the same curiosity that guides her movement and bodywork practice—creating space to slow down, pay attention, and experience the body in a different way.

About ceremonial cacao

Cacao has a long history of ceremonial and communal use throughout Mesoamerica. In contemporary ceremonial settings, cacao is often used as a gentle way to support presence, reflection, connection, and intention.

Our approach is grounded, invitational, and low-pressure. There is no expectation that you participate in any particular way, and you are always welcome to listen, rest, step outside, or modify your participation.

Cacao contains naturally occurring caffeine and theobromine and may not be appropriate for everyone. If you are pregnant, have a significant heart condition, are highly sensitive to stimulants, or take medications that may interact with cacao, please consult your healthcare provider before participating.

You are also completely welcome to attend without drinking cacao.

What to bring

Wear comfortable layers and bring anything that helps you feel cozy while lying or sitting for an extended period — a blanket, pillow, eye covering, journal, or favorite warm socks are all welcome.

Yoga mats and some cushions will be available, but bringing your own comfort items is encouraged.

Please eat a light meal beforehand and stay well hydrated.
